Applications Closing Soon
The performance application for the 2019 Tucson Fringe Theater Festival will close on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:59pm. You can submit more than one show idea, but each show will be drawn separately. There is no guarantee your submissions will be picked. The drawing lottery will be on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 5pm. We will post live feeds on all the social media pages. You can view the lottery at home, and local applicants can attend. Details about the event can be found on our Facebook Event Page. This is a free public event.
The 8thAnnual Tucson Fringe Festival will take place on January 10 – 13, 2019. We will have a press preview party on Thursday, January 10thand the festival will begin on Friday, January 11th. There will be events all weekend at 6 different venues in downtown Tucson, AZ; Hotel Congress, The Steinfeld Warehouse, The Screening Room, The Scoundrel & Scamp Theater, Cans, and Studio ONE. The locations, contact information, and festival schedule will be posted two months prior to the festival at the latest. The Press Party will be held at Borderlands Brewing Company. Venues are subject to change.
Anyone traveling to Tucson to attend or perform in the festival can visit our Hotels page to find the closest hotels to our venues and downtown Tucson.
